just a girl on her knees…

WordPress tells me I should write an “About” page–some brief description of who I am and why I’m writing this blog.  A simple enough idea.  But after spending 3 months in Mozambique, Africa this summer, I’m realizing that I’m not sure how best to answer that question.  Mostly, I feel as though I unlearned almost everything I thought I knew about God, about missions, about faith during that time.  So I’ll stick with the basics, the fundamental truth:  I’m just a girl on her knees,  crowned with love and glory of the Lord, desiring simply to know Him more, to see His face, to go lower still in pursuit of my Lover King…And I’m loving this daily journey of discovery.
